The Chess Association of Punjab (CAP) is set to hold an Executive Council Meeting on August 25, 2024, in Lahore. Directed by CAP President Naeem Rauf, this meeting aims to advance the promotion and development of chess across Punjab.
Key items on the agenda include discussions on recommended constitutional amendments and a briefing on the progress of “Chess in Education” program & Punjab Chess Academy. The council will also seek approvals for the Provincial Championship and the Inter Division Championship, vital steps in expanding chess opportunities in the region.
Prominent members attending the meeting include Dr. Naeem Rauf, Muhammad Faisal Mughal, Mr. Javed Qureshi, Mr. Zaheer Butt, Raja Gauhar Iqbal, Mr. Irfan Dogar, and Mr. Muhammad Rafi Khan.
